St. Vincent (birth name Annie Clark) was in Los Angeles over the weekend to perform on John Mulaney's live Netflix show Everybody's in LA, and while she was there she decided to play a surprise show at a local 400-capacity venue. She announced the $20 show at the Paramount just hours before it started and gave fans a proper club show performance. She play songs off her new album All Born Screaming as well as old favorites and rarities, and used the intimate setting as an opportunity to crowd surf.

Midway through the set, St. Vincent dove into the crowd while singing “Krokodil,” a one-off single released on Record Store Day 2012. As Stereogum points out, the song used to be a setlist favorite; however, this was the first time Clark performed it since 2015. She also performed the 2011 Strange Mercy track “Dilettante” for the first time in seven years, and live debuted “Reckless,” “Big Time Nothing,” “Candy Darling,” and “All Born Screaming” off her new album.

All Born Screaming came out on April 26 and is the follow-up to 2021's The Nowhere Inn. Watch fan-shot footage of St. Vincent's epic crowdsurfing moment and a professionally filmed montage of the full set below.
